troy bilt i have a problem with my ride on lawn mower. when i try to turn
ReplyDeleteit on it makes a very slight noise like its trying to turn on but it wont.
battery is fine, fuel is up, oil is good, i dont know the problem with it.
please help
just like my mower!! i put a plow for winter and a bagger for fall spring
ReplyDeleteand summer!
download your manual or buy it used or get it from the dealer. then check
ReplyDeletethe causes of weak or no ignition. just saying. : ) if you ask me it sounds
like the stator the throw out bearing dragging not getting enough power to
turn the engine over. or your engine is starving for gas(debri on the
needle valves in the carb) and you have already ran your battery down
trying to crank it.
I have the same problem as 12chargers1 - my riding mower - when I try to
ReplyDeleteturn it on it makes a very slight noise like its trying to turn on but it
won't - then I have to charge the battery. The battery is fairly new so it
is not the battery. Plenty of fuel and oil. Anyone figure this out?
Have a troy-bilt riding lawn mower and a snowblower. Have not had problems
ReplyDeletewith either one. Just check the oil, air filter, etc. and you should be
fine.
also it is a troy bilt ltx-1842
ReplyDeleteIs this better than the HONDA - MY HONDA 15YEARS OLD IT START ON FIRST POOL
ReplyDeleteCOLD OR HOT EVERYTIME. ?
i personally like john deere. my first one lasted 12 years before i gave it
ReplyDeleteaway and my second one is now 8 years old and still running like a deere.
it's a l130,just bought my first quick connect snow plow for it off ebay
and saved a bundle. don't get me wrong i like troy bilt brush mowers and
roto tillers.
Honda's are overpriced, and parts are expensive. My old Troy Bilt
ReplyDeleteRoto-Tiller from 1978 is still running strong, well will be again after I
get the new carburetor installed that I broke off. Troy Bilt has always had
very good equipment, yeah you can buy very expensive equipment from Troy
Bilt, but they have some less expensive equipment that works very well
also. Unfortunately they don't make the Larger Garden Tractor with the
front end loader attachment anymore.
troy bilt is the best for the price.got a pony and love it but if you want
ReplyDeleteto pay more for the same features...go ahead?
love my troy-bilt bronco. had it for three years and it still runs strong.?
