  3. download your manual or buy it used or get it from the dealer. then check
the causes of weak or no ignition. just saying. : ) if you ask me it sounds
like the stator the throw out bearing dragging not getting enough power to
turn the engine over. or your engine is starving for gas(debri on the
needle valves in the carb) and you have already ran your battery down
    trying to crank it.

  4. I have the same problem as 12chargers1 - my riding mower - when I try to
turn it on it makes a very slight noise like its trying to turn on but it
won't - then I have to charge the battery. The battery is fairly new so it
is not the battery. Plenty of fuel and oil. Anyone figure this out?

  5. Have a troy-bilt riding lawn mower and a snowblower. Have not had problems
with either one. Just check the oil, air filter, etc. and you should be
    fine.

  7. i personally like john deere. my first one lasted 12 years before i gave it
away and my second one is now 8 years old and still running like a deere.
it's a l130,just bought my first quick connect snow plow for it off ebay
and saved a bundle. don't get me wrong i like troy bilt brush mowers and
    roto tillers.

  8. Honda's are overpriced, and parts are expensive. My old Troy Bilt
Roto-Tiller from 1978 is still running strong, well will be again after I
get the new carburetor installed that I broke off. Troy Bilt has always had
very good equipment, yeah you can buy very expensive equipment from Troy
Bilt, but they have some less expensive equipment that works very well
also. Unfortunately they don't make the Larger Garden Tractor with the
    front end loader attachment anymore.
